What is Blocker?
Blocker is a patent protected personal shield against airborne pollutants such as viruses, bacteria, mould and offensive odours that uses a chemical compound called Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) to sanitize the air in your immediate surroundings.
What is the active element in the Blocker?
Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) gas is the active element in the Blocker.
What is Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2)?
Chlorine Dioxide or ClO2 is a chemical compound with a track record worldwide as a first-choice disinfectant for anti-microbial applications. It has proven its effectiveness against pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, mould, pollen and offensive odours.

Also used to disinfect drinking water, ClO2 as a disinfectant and environmental purification agent has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
How does Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) work?
ClO2 works through oxidation by decomposing the protein in the cell membrane surrounding pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, etc. When the ClO2 gas comes into contact with pathogens, the cells are ruptured and destroyed.
How do I use Blocker?
Blocker can simply be worn around the neck on a lanyard, clipped to a shirt pocket, or attached to a handbag. To activate the Blocker just remove the protective seal to expose the holes. ClO2 gas will begin to continuously dissipate at a safe rate to sanitize and protect the user.

An active Blocker should not be placed inside a clothes pocket or bag.
What is Blocker effective against?
The Blocker is effective against pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, mould, pollen and offensive odours.
What distance can Blocker cover?
Blocker can provide a clean, safe zone of up to 1 meter around you.
How long does Blocker remain effective?
Once activated Blocker remains fully effective for 30 days after which its effectiveness gradually lowers. It is active up to 45 days.
How do I know Blocker is effective?
Blocker uses a patent protected solidified ClO2 formulation. This special formulation has undergone various tests in independent laboratories under rigorously controlled conditions to verify effectiveness and safety for the user, including:

• Antiviral Test
• Bacteria Removal Test
• Mold Growth Suppression Test
• Deodorization Test
• Safety Test
Is Blocker safe?
Blocker is safe to use by children, adults, and even pregnant women. The product is not to be used on infants.
Is it okay to wear Blocker 24/7?
Blocker should not be used while sleeping. If any discomfort is experienced while using Blocker discontinue use immediately.
Is Blocker effective if worn outdoors?
Blocker works best in enclosed spaces. Too much wind interference can affect the ability of the ClO2 gas to collect around the Blocker. Running and other active pastimes or strong gusts of wind, for example, make it harder for Blocker to maintain a clean zone.

If Blocker’s ClO2 gas is unable to collect around you, its effectiveness may be reduced.
Does Blocker help in treating colds, flu, or asthma?
Blocker is not a treatment or cure for any illness or respiratory condition. It helps to protect you against airborne pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, mould, pollen and offensive odours.
Does the use of Blocker have any side effects?
There are no known side effects if used correctly. If any discomfort is experienced while using Blocker, discontinue use immediately.
Does Blocker have a smell?
ClO2 gas has no smell unless the level of chlorine gas being emitted is above 0.3ppm. Blocker is well within this range and therefore has no smell. ClO2 gas from the Blocker neutralizes offensive odours.
Does Blocker leave any residue on your hands or clothes?
The patent protected ClO2 solid formulation is contained in a special fine mesh paper sachet that is then enclosed in a thin, fully-sealed aluminum package. As long as the sachet containing the solidified ClO2 is not damaged or torn by the user there should be no residue.

Direct contact with bare skin should be avoided. If any discomfort is experienced, discontinue use immediately. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
Does Blocker stain clothing?
No, it does not stain clothes or anything else.
How do I store Blocker after activating it and when not in use?
The Blocker should be stored in a cool area. Avoid placing Blocker in direct sunlight.
Where is Blocker made?
Blocker is made in Japan by Envroy Co. Ltd.
Is Blocker a new product?
Blocker was introduced into the Japanese market by Envroy Co. Ltd. in 2011. Envroy’s founder and head of research, Dr. Kiyohiro Wake, invented the term “virus blocker”. Today there are many companies selling similar products.
How does Blocker compare to other similar products in the market?
There are many products that look like Blocker, but use “stabilized chlorine dioxide” as their primary active component. This is a different compound from chlorine dioxide (ClO2) used by the Envroy Blocker and is not as effective as it actually has little to no ClO2.

Blocker uses a patent protected proprietary method that solidifies ClO2 gas which then safely and continuously dissipates ClO2 gas to create a clean zone around you.
